Goal: Design a company Award for those who actively innovate
Role: Lead Designer, Graphic Designer
Concept: Tree of contribution
Keywords: Evolving, colourful, playful
Photography: M.Perry

"The idea for this IDF award took inspiration from our tagline 'Add Color to Your World', and all the recent activities and material created around it to bring us together as a company. With this award, we wanted to bring that tagline to life in a tangible way, adding color to the everyday lives of our colleagues who contribute so much to our success and add so much color to our products and customers.

What I like most about this award is its interactive and evolving nature. Like the patents it honors, it's designed to grow and change over time, keeping it special and unique for each recipient. I like to call it the Tree of Contribution. Just like other trees, we hope our winners want to grow forests and bring lots of color and playfulness into their day-to-day lives, and that this will trigger more interactions and collaboration.

New year, new design. The graphics on the ‘leaves’ change for every new year, honouring each time the different departments that make the company. The evolving nature of the concept applies also to the leaves and it adds to it’s collectability and desirability.

Graphic Design

Achieving the desired solution demanded multiple prototypes. Using only resources available in the company, many models were created to visualise, test and prove every detail of the design, the experience, the choice of materials and how it all gets built. Detailing was key to achieve a solution that feels like an award..

Experimentation and Prototyping.
